Are you a leader who wants to participate in developing Pensionsmyndigheten's analysis activities? We are now seeking a manager for one of the analysis department's units. About the job Pensionsmyndigheten's analysis department investigates, studies, evaluates, and describes the effects of the pension system for pension savers, pensioners, and society, and is responsible for Pensionsmyndigheten's commitments as the official statistics authority and other statistical production in the field. Examples of analytical perspectives that may be included in our reports are macroeconomic consequences, distribution effects, elderly labor supply and other labor market consequences, cost effects and other costs, microsimulations, and effects on economic growth. To carry out the authority's statutory analysis assignments, the department has access to extensive statistics and data as well as several analysis models and other customized IT tools. The department consists of approximately 45 employees distributed across four units: the data warehouse and decision support unit, the statistics unit, the investigation and actuarial mathematics unit, and the capital management and actuarial unit. The department is in a development phase consisting of, among other things, increased automation, deeper data-driven analysis, and increased use of digital analysis tools. We are now seeking a unit manager for the Investigation and Actuarial Mathematics Unit (UF Unit). The unit has a central role at the authority and works with, among other things, analyses of the pension system's effects on individuals and society, analyses aimed at helping pension savers and pensioners make good decisions, and analyses that contribute to strengthening pension savers' and pensioners' positions as consumers of financial products within the pension field. The unit also makes expenditure forecasts and is responsible for actuarial activities related to the income pension system, as well as conducting internal operations analyses. Approximately 13 people work in the unit in total, excluding the unit manager. As a unit manager, you will be part of the analysis department's management group and will contribute, together with other unit managers and the department manager, to the strategic development of the department's combined activities. Your profile You have very good personal qualities and have demonstrated excellent leadership skills. You also have good cooperation skills, are quality-conscious, structured, and development and results-oriented, especially with regard to the use of data-driven analysis and digital tools. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of advanced quantitative analyses, understanding of and interest in modern analysis methods, and the ability to contribute actively and constructively to the entire workplace's efficiency and collaboration climate. In addition, you have a very good ability to express yourself well and pedagogically in speech and writing. As a leader, you apply a coaching and trust-based approach where strong teamwork is a matter of course. We are looking for you who have: An academic degree that the employer deems relevant for the position and the unit's activities, for example economics. Current experience as a manager with budget and personnel responsibility. Experience with quantitative and qualitative analytical work at an advanced level. Work experience relevant to the position from the public sector. Good knowledge of Swedish, in speech and writing. It is advantageous if you have: Experience from work related to general pensions, the labor market, or other social security systems. Research education. Experience from the Government Offices.
