Your role and responsibilities:
As Unit Manager Distribution & Energy Services, you are responsible for leading, developing and future-proofing operations within distribution and energy services for the District Heating business area. The unit plays an important role in the development and management of the district heating network as well as in work with customer-focused solutions and a long-term sustainable district heating business.
You have operational, financial, personnel and working environment responsibility for the unit and lead a group of approximately 11 employees, including technicians and engineers with various specialist competencies. In an operation where technology, customer benefit, economics and long-term development need to work together, secure and present leadership is required.
An important part of the assignment is to further develop working methods, roles, responsibilities and mandates, as well as to drive development work focused on more efficient processes, better planning and follow-up, and an even more customer-oriented district heating business.
You are part of the District Heating business area's management team and actively contribute to the overall development of the business area.

We are looking for you who is a secure and clear leader with the ability to create structure, engagement and direction. You thrive in a varied role where you can combine operational issues with long-term development, and where leadership, technology, customer benefit and business acumen need to work together.
You have good strategic ability and can see the whole picture while translating goals and decisions into practical implementation. You are development-oriented and have the courage to challenge established working methods when the operation needs to take the next step.
As a leader, you create clarity without micromanaging. You build trust through good communication, participation and follow-up, both within your own unit and in collaboration with customers, contractors and other internal functions.
We are looking for you who have:
University or civil engineering degree in a relevant field, or equivalent education and experience that we assess as equivalent.
Experience from technical operations with facilities, infrastructure or other technically complex operations.
Several years of experience in leadership with personnel responsibility.
Good ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing as well as understanding of English.
Class B driving license.
It is meritorious if you have experience from the energy industry, district heating, water and sanitation, electricity networks or other network operations. We also view positively experience from, for example, customer-focused operations, facility management, investment planning, procurement, contract management, process development or digitalization. Leadership training is also meritorious.
You don't need to have experience in everything! For us, it is most important that you have a secure leadership style, technical understanding and a willingness to develop the operation together with us.
Terms and application:
The position is a permanent full-time employment, daytime.
Hässleholm Miljö conducts socially important operations. This means that all employees are war-placed in the organization to ensure operations during heightened alert.
The position is security-classified and the final candidate will undergo security vetting, background check and extended background check as part of the recruitment process. Employment contract is conditional on passed security clearance.
