IT-centrum is the shared IT administration for Heby, Knivsta, Tierp, Älvkarleby, and Östhammar municipalities. The operation is governed by the shared IT board, and Tierp municipality is the host municipality and employer. As a manager in Tierp municipality, you are offered management introduction, leadership development based on the Developmental Leadership model, and support in areas such as workplace environment, economics, labor law, collaboration, and salary formation. The work can also be performed from one of the member municipalities and partially from home, based on the operation's needs and applicable guidelines. The position involves travel between member municipalities. IT-centrum is implementing organizational and operational development where we create clearer responsibility for our service deliveries and strengthen capabilities in areas such as service management, cybersecurity, standardization, lifecycle management, and supplier management. 1 position(s). DUTIES Do you want to be part of building a new unit and shaping future service delivery within digital workplace, contracts, and procurement? As unit manager for User-Facing Services, you have a unique opportunity to be involved from the start and develop delivery and services. You lead the work of creating a modern and user-friendly digital workplace, while developing structures and processes for procurement, contracts, and supplier management. This is a role where you get to combine strategic responsibility with close management and clear impact on IT-centrum's future service delivery. You build up the unit's organization, culture, and vision and lead 12 dedicated employees within client management, procurement, and contracts. Together you develop services that are clear, efficient, and easy to follow up, with the right quality, cost, service level, and lifecycle. You ensure that technical delivery goes hand in hand with business sense, security, sustainability, and user benefit. The role also includes responsibility for business planning, personnel, budget, workplace environment, and facilities matters, as well as driving IT-centrum's sustainability work with a focus on circular IT. You ensure that the operation complies with established guidelines for IT and information security in services and contracts. As part of IT-centrum's management group, you actively contribute to the organization's long-term strategy and development. You collaborate closely with member municipalities, internal units, and external suppliers. In this role, you get a key position in creating future services for a modern and sustainable digital workplace. QUALIFICATIONS To be relevant for the position, you must have at least five years of documented management experience within an IT operation, technical service operation, or other comparable complex operation. In your previous management role, you have had personnel, economics, and workplace environment responsibility. It is meriting for the position if you have relevant academic education. Experience with digital workplace, client, or similar services is also meriting. It is desirable that you have experience with public procurement, responsibility for major contracts, and circular IT. It is also meriting if you have worked within municipal operations or another politically controlled organization. Since communication with several municipalities is important, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. As a person, you are a confident, experienced, and development-oriented manager who is motivated by building new things and creating structure in an operation undergoing change. You can formulate a clear vision and translate it into priorities, responsibilities, working methods, and measurable results. You can switch between strategic issues and operational needs. You have a strong holistic perspective and understand that a shared delivery to five municipalities requires collaboration, perseverance, and the ability to balance shared solutions against the operations' different needs. You tap into your employees' knowledge, while being clear about direction, requirements, and responsibility.
