Unit Manager for the Administrative Unit, Solna
Psykiatri Nordväst is a university clinic with approximately 450 dedicated employees who constantly strive to provide our patients with good, safe, and equitable care. For us at Psykiatri Nordväst, it is important to offer high accessibility and a well-functioning care chain, where outpatient and inpatient care work closely together. We have seven outpatient clinics around the northwestern part of Stockholm, as well as two administrative units. Our care wards are located at Danderyds Hospital and S:t Görans Hospital.
The Administrative Unit Solna, where this position is located, moved in the summer of 2026 to completely renovated and beautiful premises at St: Eriksgatan 125, Vasastan. Good transportation connections are available, and there is a large selection of lunch restaurants.
Within the Administrative Unit Solna, two administrators/receptionists and eight medical secretaries work. The duties are typical for medical secretaries, such as writing records, registering diagnoses and procedure codes, scheduling patients, and managing the clinics' telephone lines. When needed, also work in cash/reception. Additionally, responsible for keys, practitioners' phones, alarms, ordering supplies, and providing support to the clinics' unit managers with Heroma and invoice handling.
Duties:
As a unit manager, your overall responsibility is to lead, monitor, and develop the unit and its employees. You leverage and enable the realization of employees' ideas. You are responsible for the unit's finances, personnel, work environment, and environmental matters. Daily work involves active presence and genuine engagement with the administrative team as well as further developing the healthcare administration work area. You have very close collaboration with the other unit managers at the clinic who are located at the same address, whose operations your employees support.

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with relevant academic education for the position. You have documented experience from management assignments and experience leading and developing an administrative support organization. You have good knowledge of labor law and managerial responsibility in personnel matters such as sick leave, rehabilitation, and application of applicable regulations. You have good IT skills and interest in driving digital development in healthcare. Good Swedish language skills corresponding to C1 level are required.

You have good leadership qualities, strong collaboration skills, and are receptive to feedback. You have the ability to structure and organize your work tasks and have a responsible approach to your own contribution as part of the clinic's goal achievement. You need to be communicative and clear in your leadership, are flexible, and dare to take your own initiatives and decisions. Furthermore, you have the ability to stimulate the unit's development and get a group to work toward common goals. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Employment Form:
Appointment as unit manager with permanent employment in the base position according to current healthcare profession. The appointment is time-limited for three years.
Working hours Monday–Friday (39.5 h/week). Start date by agreement.

- good Swedish language skills corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) are required, in addition to Swedish professional credentials. The same requirement is advisory for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
