The communications function has a strong focus on coherent communication, contributing to improved experience, effective management communication, and enabling self-empowerment and health among residents. The department is consolidated and works with all administrations within Region Skåne. The Digital Services Unit works with the development of resident services. The unit is part of the digital communications area, which consists of three additional units working to develop and manage Region Skåne's digital channels and services. RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as unit manager, you are responsible for driving and developing work with digital services within healthcare, together with the unit and various functions. We develop Region Skåne's presence on 1177 and other digital services with the aim of giving residents an equally high-quality experience regardless of how they choose to contact us. As a manager leading staff, you take your operations in the expected direction toward operational goals. Together with your team members, you develop operations through efficient work methods with high quality and continuously follow up for learning and further development. Your team members' engagement is crucial to success in your mission, and you value coaching, giving feedback, evaluating performance, promoting collaboration, and creating a good work environment. You have employer and management responsibility that includes staff, operations, and finances. You report to the area manager and are part of the area management team, and you work closely and drive issues jointly with other unit managers within the digital communications area. You are part of the communications management group that is responsible for the communications function at Region Skåne. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with university or college education with a digital focus in communications or other relevant education, and several years of experience driving development of digital services with a focus on usability and accessibility. You have management experience with operational, budget, and personnel responsibility, preferably from public operations. The role requires that you are well versed in the legal requirements and guidelines that we as a public actor need to follow. You can see the big picture and ensure that development occurs in sync with established strategies. You are also communicative, receptive, and find solutions even for complex issues. You practice close leadership and collaborate very well with others. You are skilled at identifying needs, prioritizing, and utilizing existing resources, while being action-oriented with high ambition. To succeed in your role as a manager, it is self-evident for you to strengthen each team member in their role and work proactively and long-term with development matters. Your leadership style creates trust and security. By inspiring and enthusing, you get others to feel involved and willing to take responsibility.
