We are now seeking a unit manager who wants to translate strategies into concrete results and lead the development of the municipality's digital capabilities.
With us, you will have a central role in the IT and Digitalization Department where, together with engaged employees, operations managers, and colleagues, you will drive the development of the municipality's operations through digitalization and modern working methods.
As unit manager, you are responsible for the municipality's Digital Development area and are a key person in our continued development journey.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will lead a unit that works closely with operations and serves as the link between needs, development, and implementation. The unit comprises the municipality's combined capabilities in operations development, systems management, project management, and digital development. You will lead specialists in operations development, digitalization, systems management, project management, and operations-focused IT. Together, you will ensure that the municipality's development initiatives create real value and long-term results.
You are responsible for employees, work environment, finances, priorities, and deliverables within the unit.
You are part of the IT and Digitalization Department's management group and actively contribute to the department's strategic development, priorities, and shared goals. Together with other managers, you are responsible for developing the municipality's capabilities in IT, digitalization, and information security.
The role has clear responsibility for implementing, prioritizing, and realizing the benefits of the municipality's development initiatives in close collaboration with operations.
Your main responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and develop employees and teams.
• Manage the unit's operations, finances, work environment, and results.
• Create structure, prioritization, and follow-up within development work.
• Manage prioritization and coordination of the municipality's development portfolio.
• Build strong relationships with operations and managers.
• Ensure that development initiatives deliver clear operational value.
• Ensure that investments and development initiatives are followed up and deliver intended results.
• Drive change and development work in a complex organization.
• Contribute to the implementation of the municipality's digitalization initiatives and development initiatives.
• Develop collaboration between operations and IT.
• Contribute to the development of the municipality's digital workplace and the use of Microsoft 365.
We are looking for you as a confident and clear leader who creates trust, engagement, and results. You have experience leading qualified employees and thrive in environments where many stakeholders and needs must be balanced.
You are structured, communicative, and have the ability to translate strategy into concrete implementation.
You are skilled at leading through others, creating structure in complex environments, and building trusting relationships with both operations and IT. You are accustomed to prioritizing between different needs and ensuring that resources are used where they create the greatest value.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have academic education in IT, systems science, operations development, or equivalent experience that the employer considers equivalent.
Previous management responsibility is required.
