Your Responsibilities
Linköping Municipality is raising its ambitions in the data field, which places new and exciting demands on the IT department. As unit manager for the newly established Data and Integration unit, you will have a key role and overall responsibility for developing and structuring the unit's working methods, methodology, and technology choices.
You will lead operations, budget, and personnel for a team of five experienced IT developers. The group supports the entire municipality in creating business value through digital transformation—from needs and design to management and further development. You report to the IT department manager and will be an important part of the IT department's management group alongside eight colleague managers.
Your Workplace
The IT department is part of the Business Support and Service department. We are a large team of approximately 100 colleagues who provide IT services to the municipality's employees and operations, and ultimately to Linköping's residents, students, and service users.

About You
We are looking for someone who wants to combine secure leadership with strong drive for operational and technology development. You are comfortable navigating different technical solutions and architectures and thrive in a changing environment. As a leader, you are clear and decisive, while also being attentive and creating engagement and team spirit.
You have:
- Relevant academic education in technology or equivalent competence through work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
- A background in software development and methodology development.
- Several years of experience in a leadership role, such as project manager, team leader, or manager, where you have successfully led and motivated others.
- Experience or good understanding of operational management and budget responsibility.
- Strong communication skills in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
