To our special residential facility in Krokom, we are looking for a unit manager with present leadership characterized by a willingness to create conditions for employees to perform work of high quality. You will be one of seven unit managers in our management group together with the operations manager, who will also be your immediate supervisor. As a new manager in Krokom Municipality, you will receive cross-departmental and operations-focused introduction. We have continuous professional development. The Social Services Department consists of 600 employees where the breadth of the assignment is extensive. The department is divided into five operational areas and is present throughout the municipality. Here we are responsible for providing care, support and service, as well as health and medical care to the municipality's residents who need it, at all stages of life. A day as unit manager at Blomstergården Blomstergården has four different departments and is led by three unit managers. We are in the middle of an exciting development phase related to the implementation of the national BPSD register, which aims to improve and ensure quality care for people with dementia, sustainable staffing and scheduling, the startup of a new department and eventually the Senior Career Journey. As unit manager, you are the responsible manager for 2 departments and approximately 25 employees. The role involves personnel, work environment and budget responsibility, as well as responsibility for driving operational development. You are responsible for staffing, planning and monitoring operations and must ensure that laws, guidelines and quality requirements are followed. You clarify goals, define assignments and set quality expectations. Through a coaching approach and regular feedback to employees, you create conditions for participation, promote openness, handle conflicts and see each employee's potential. You ensure that services are delivered with the right quality and results, plan within economic frameworks and systematically drive work environment efforts. To facilitate your daily work, there are support functions that help manage staffing, short-term absences and some administration. You will receive support from personnel and operations-focused support functions such as HR consultant, SAS, MAS, accountant and more. You will work closely with your employees, nurses, rehabilitation staff, union representatives and other internal and external actors to create safe and secure care for our residents in the special residential facility. You coach and follow up on your employees' efforts and actively work to ensure that our residents are received by considerate staff who put the residents' individual needs at the center. In your role, you focus on areas and have result responsibility for your unit. We expect you to broaden your perspective, understand other functions and tasks and have an understanding of the whole at the operational, departmental and municipal level. As a manager, you are the employer's extended arm, you stand for decisions made and for the municipality's values and work to drive the operation forward. Your competence Requirements for the position: Academic education in the field. This could be social worker, personnel specialist, nurse, physiotherapist, occupational therapist or other relevant education. Multi-year experience as a manager and leader in public administration. Experience driving change and development work. Good knowledge of the laws governing the operation. Driver's license, category B. You express yourself well in speech and writing. For us, it is important that you have good organizational and collaboration skills but also the ability to work independently. We assume that you have good self-awareness and are persistent. You are communicative, confident and have the ability to make decisions. You can handle complex situations with calm and clarity. We want you to be both active and work close to the operation to ensure that the good safety culture is maintained. You should have knowledge of the work environment law and how the systematic work environment process works, and be able to cooperate with union parties. It is very meritorious if you have practical experience of this from your previous work. We would like to see that you have digital maturity, see the opportunities with technology, experience and competence in working with various systems such as Multiaccess TimeCarePlanning, Heroma, Viva, Appva MCSS, Visma and others.
