About the operation Aleris Basic Home Care works on behalf of health centers in Stockholm County and is responsible for care during evenings, nights, and weekends when the health centers are closed. Our teams operate from five geographic operational areas and conduct home visits to patients who need medical assessment and treatment at home. The operation is part of Aleris Nearby Care, which also includes ASIH (Advanced Care at Home), palliative care units, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Nearby Acute. This provides good opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and continued development. About the role As a unit manager, you have a key role in leading, developing, and creating good conditions for the operation together with your employees. You are responsible for ensuring that the operation is conducted with high quality, a good work environment, and a clear patient focus. You lead a competent team consisting of an assistant unit manager, nurses, nursing assistants, and coordinators. You report to the operations manager and are part of the management group for basic home care, where you together drive the strategic development of the operation. Your main areas of responsibility are to: have personnel, work environment, and results responsibility lead the operation based on assignment, budget, and operational plan ensure high quality, continuity, and patient safety drive improvement and development work contribute to the operation's strategic development together with the management group. Working hours are primarily Monday–Friday. Some presence during evenings and weekends occurs to create proximity to the operation and support employees in their work.
