JOB DUTIES Elderly care in Åre Municipality comprises seven units within residential care and home care services. Placement and area of responsibility for the two positions will be shaped based on the future organization of the operation and your competence and experience. As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, employees and finances. You lead through trust, presence and engagement and create conditions for high quality for our users and a sustainable work environment for our employees. The assignment is both strategic and operational. You lead daily operations while driving development and improvement work to meet future needs. You become an important part in developing modern, accessible and user-centered elderly care and work closely with colleagues, support functions, the region and other collaboration partners. You are part of the elderly care management group together with six other unit managers and report to the home care manager. Your main areas of responsibility • Lead and develop operations based on goals, quality and work environment • Have personnel responsibility with focus on leadership, skills development and sustainable working life • Responsibility for budget, finance and resource planning • Collaborate with other operations, primary care, region and external actors • Drive change, development and improvement work • Management at Åre Municipality is characterized by three interconnected perspectives – leadership, employer responsibility and operational responsibility. Successful management is built on all three parts working together. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a confident and clear leader with a genuine interest in people and social benefit. You have the ability to create engagement, structure and job satisfaction even in a sometimes complex everyday life. We would like to see that you have: • Relevant higher education or other training/experience that the employer deems equivalent. • Leadership experience, preferably within care, elderly care or other personnel-intensive activities • Good organizational and communication skills. • Experience working with finance, monitoring and operational development. • Class B driving license Form of employment: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: As soon as possible, or by agreement.
