Ziklo Bank is now seeking an Engineering Manager in Gothenburg to lead development teams through an exciting transformation toward a more product-oriented approach. You will be responsible for two development teams within the Fleet domain with approximately 14 employees and be an important part of the management group within the development organization.
About the Fleet domain:
You will be responsible for teams that enable and future-proof Ziklo's fleet business, an area where we are currently market leaders and work closely with both customers and partners to develop the mobility of the future.
The teams develop business-critical and modern solutions within financing and administration, with a focus on quality, stability, and innovation. Here, engaged and competent colleagues work in close collaboration between business and tech, with a shared ambition to create smarter and more sustainable mobility solutions for the future.
What you will do
Lead, coach, and develop development teams with a focus on delivery capacity, quality, and long-term sustainability.
Have full personnel responsibility including recruitment, onboarding, competency development, feedback, and performance management.
Ensure the right competencies, staffing, working methods, and structure within the teams.
Drive continuous improvement in software development, DevOps, quality, testing, documentation, and management of technical debt.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects, security functions, and other stakeholders to create progress and business value.
Ensure that development work follows regulatory requirements, security requirements, and the organization's requirements for stability and compliance.
Create transparency around status, risks, dependencies, and capacity, and contribute to prioritization and decision-making.
Be a driving force in Ziklo's continued agile and product-oriented transformation.
Who you are
We are looking for a confident, clear, and engaging leader with experience leading development teams in complex IT environments. You combine a strong focus on people with the ability to create structure, direction, and results.
We believe you have:
Relevant academic education or equivalent experience in IT and software development.
Experience leading development teams in product-oriented environments, and preferably experience driving or contributing to transformation journeys toward a more product-driven and agile working approach.
At least five years of experience in a leadership role such as Engineering Manager, Software Development Manager, or similar.
Experience with personnel responsibility, team development, recruitment, and talent management.
Good understanding of modern software development, agile methods, product development, and DevOps.
Experience from organizations with high demands for security, quality, and traceability.
Ability to manage technical debt, technical migrations, and long-term development planning.
Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing.
Meritorious:
Experience from banking, finance, fintech, or other regulated operations such as medtech is advantageous.
