Dedicated Study and Career Counselor (SYV) Needed at SIA Hägersten

We are now seeking a dedicated study and career counselor at approximately 20% to our primary school in Hägersten. The school has approximately 215 students in grades F–9. As a study and career counselor with us, you will have an important role in providing our students with knowledge, guidance, and confidence in their future regarding upcoming study and career choices. The scope and placement of the position will be planned in dialogue and by mutual agreement. About the Assignment You will work in close collaboration with the school's leadership, educators, and student support team. We have a clear ambition to create continuity in our study and career guidance work and are looking for someone who wants to help continue developing and strengthening this effort. Your responsibilities include, among other things: Individual and group guidance for students, with special focus on grades 7–9 Support and guidance regarding upper secondary school selection Planning and implementation of initiatives linked to the school's long-term SYV work Collaboration with guardians, upper secondary schools, the business community, and other external partners Contribute to the school's systematic quality work within study and career guidance Participate in and contribute to the school's student support work Be involved in developing the school's work with students' future study and career choices We are Looking for You Have a degree as a study and career counselor Have good knowledge of the education system, upper secondary school offerings, and different educational pathways Are initiative-taking, well-organized, and have strong collaboration skills Have genuine commitment to students' development and future confidence Thrive working both independently and together with others Previous experience working as a study and career counselor in primary school is a merit.
