Position: Personal Assistant (Awake Nights)
Scope: Approximately 50%
Employment Type: Permanent (as long as the assignment lasts)
Start: August, with possible opportunity for introduction and early start
We are now seeking a personal assistant for awake nights for a 10-year-old boy who lives just outside Lund, in Hjärup. The boy has muscle weakness that affects his balance and body control and therefore requires assistance around the clock. He is an active, social, and cheerful boy who lives a life full of activities, just like other children his age.
About the Position
As a personal assistant, you will have an important role in creating the conditions for the boy's daily life and quality of life. During the night, you are responsible for meeting his needs and ensuring his safety and well-being.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is calm, responsible, and able to act quickly when needed
• Enjoyed working independently and in close cooperation with the family
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is a non-smoker (required)
• Is flexible and able to adapt to the boy's needs and the family's wishes
About the Workplace
The workplace is located in Hjärup, and it is easy to get there by public transport, but we would prefer that you have a driver's license and access to a car. The work is primarily scheduled for awake nights and also includes weekend work.
You will receive thorough introduction, and the parents are available for support and guidance. Please note that there is a dog in the home.
