Your Responsibilities As a teacher in crafts and music, you're responsible for planning, implementing, and developing instruction so students have the opportunity to explore, create, and develop their abilities through both practical and aesthetic learning. You will, among other things: * Teach students in crafts and music in grades 4–9. * Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that spark creativity and desire to learn. * Work with both practical and theoretical elements within the subjects. * Create a safe and structured learning environment where students dare to try, fail, and develop. * Assess, document, and follow up on students' knowledge development. * Participate in the school's collaborative development work. * Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and activities. Music instruction involves guiding students in musical creativity, performance, and ensemble work. Crafts instruction involves helping students develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and craftsmanship through the entire creative process.
