About the role; As a cook with us, you are a central part of the preschool and have a key function in the operation. You have a kitchen assistant by your side, and together you prepare meals for Fasseröds preschool as well as two additional preschools within ULNA. Your work is not just about cooking – you create the conditions for meals that become part of children's learning, interaction, and exploration. We see food as a sensory experience and a tool to meet diversity and culture. Relational work is an important part of the role, and we value collaboration with children, guardians, and colleagues. By being present and involved in the preschool's daily life, you build relationships and create a positive mealtime culture. You are a trusted adult who sees opportunities to include children in the kitchen and inspire curiosity about food and health. Qualifications and responsibilities: We are looking for someone who: Is committed and sees yourself as an important part of the preschool's pedagogical work. Has an interest in mealtime pedagogy and looks forward to visits from children in the kitchen. Sees collaboration with children, guardians, and colleagues as self-evident and a prerequisite for your work. Can plan and compose a nutritious menu for everyone, regardless of special diets and allergies. Has financial awareness and is responsible for budgets, orders, and self-checks according to current food hygiene procedures. Has good social skills and creates a positive and welcoming mealtime environment. Is organized, solution-focused, and sees opportunities in daily work.
