About the company Bollnäs Energi AB is a municipally owned energy company that produces and distributes district heating and generates electricity in Bollnäs municipality. The company also operates an open fiber network and delivers broadband to households and businesses in the area. Operations include heating plants in Bollnäs, Arbrå, Kilafors, and Rengsjö, with a focus on sustainable and local energy supply. Your responsibilities As Operations Manager, you have a central role in the company, with personnel and work environment responsibility and drive the work on operational optimization to ensure efficient operations. You plan and follow up on work to ensure that tasks are carried out as planned. The work group currently consists of 12 operations technicians and you handle everything from salary and development discussions as well as other personnel matters. You work closely with your employees and other departments. In addition to this, you have frequent contact with suppliers. You are part of the Energy business area and report directly to the business area manager. Your profile We are looking for someone with good technical understanding and an interest in technical processes. You have experience in process technology or automation and control engineering, or similar technical operations. You have at least studied at high school level; it is a merit if you have a technical education such as engineering or similar education that we consider equivalent. It is a merit if you have had personnel responsibility or a leadership role and experience working in public operations. To fit this role, we see that you are organized and have good collaboration skills. You thrive working in a complex environment and enjoy solving problems. Furthermore, you are able to motivate others to achieve common goals together. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English as well as IT.
