Our Offer The Gastrointestinal Medicine Clinic at Linköping University Hospital is a gastroenterology regional clinic serving the Southeastern Healthcare Region. The clinic consists of an outpatient clinic for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver disease and functional gastrointestinal disorders (neurogastroenterology), day care, inpatient ward, and endoscopy. The clinic provides healthcare, nursing, and education through competence, empathy, and fruitful research in a positive work climate. Job Description As a dietitian with us, you work with individual nutritional treatment for patients with intestinal diseases and liver diseases. You contribute to mapping the patient's nutritional status, investigate nutritional difficulties, and prescribe nutritional treatment. You conduct motivational conversations and guide patients toward appropriate lifestyle changes based on individual needs. You work in both inpatient and outpatient care with telephone follow-ups and have your own clinic. Close collaboration will occur with our other dietitian at the clinic. Dietitian work involves patient education individually, as well as consultation and training of colleagues. Teamwork is an important part of our approach. Work within the clinic's sections is multidisciplinary and team-based with established networks to other specialties and with regular multidisciplinary conferences. Together you jointly assess patient cases, support and help each other to provide our patients with good person-centered care. You work in various teams, participate in rounds, and are part of the department's nutrition group. The University Hospital is also responsible for supervising students, and supervision of dietitian students is part of your role. The clinic's dietitians work closely with other dietitians at the hospital, and regular meetings are arranged with dietitians within Region Östergötland. As an employee with us, it is a natural part of your position to contribute to and participate in current development projects and research, including within the field of nutrition. The clinic plans research studies that address, among other things, nutritional treatments for IBD and liver disease patients. About You You are a licensed dietitian. If you have experience working as a dietitian within gastroenterology, parenteral and enteral nutrition, this is meritorious. You collaborate well with others, are attentive, and communicate clearly. You can also work independently and make decisions that take the overall operations into account. Application and Employment The position is a temporary contract through June 20, 2027.
