About the Position Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely adapted based on the client's life, so work tasks can vary depending on the workplace. The client is a teenage boy living in Njurunda. In this assignment, in addition to working in the home environment, you will accompany the client to school and leisure activities. The home also has a dog, so it is important that you are comfortable with pets and are not allergic. As an assistant, you will support the client throughout his day, with everything from personal care to mobility assistance and activities. We are now looking for a new committed assistant for his team! Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client. We are now looking for someone who meets the following: wishes to work with a 16-year-old boy in Njurunda has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written can tolerate fur-bearing animals (there is a dog in the client's home) has a B driver's license and access to a car is smoke-free during work hours For this position, it is advantageous if you: have experience with personal assistance or similar work have experience with tube feeding care share the client's interests in music and TV Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment arrangement is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment level of approximately 75-80%. Working hours are scheduled for daytime and evening shifts. Day shifts vary between 06:30-15:00 and 06:30-17:00. Evening shifts vary between 14:30-22:00 and 17:00-22:00. Weekend work occurs. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date September 1 or by agreement.
