Description:

We're looking for an engagement developer who wants to help strengthen young people's opportunities to have a say in Värmland. As an engagement developer, you're responsible for creating engagement, building relationships, and implementing activities that strengthen young people's influence and participation. You work closely with young people, as well as with decision-makers, civil servants, and other collaboration partners who want to develop their work with youth engagement. About the Project Youth Hub Värmland is a development project where Youth 2030 Movement, together with Region Värmland and other regional and local actors, explores how the public sector can become better at including young people in decisions and societal development. Through workshops, dialogues, tests, and co-creation with young people, the project develops new working methods and structures that make youth influence possible. The role is based at the Region's office in Karlstad and also involves travel within Värmland. About Youth 2030 Movement We're a small organization where everyone contributes to the association's overall work as needed. We support each other and participate in joint activities. Youth 2030 Movement is a non-profit association that brings together democracy activists, young leaders, children's rights advocates, and allied adults. We're convinced that Sweden needs a shift in power – that democracy becomes larger and stronger when young people have more influence over societal development. We have our sights set on 2030. Until then, we're fighting for a lowered voting age and to change how decision-makers in municipalities, regions, and authorities view young people. We do this by challenging, supporting, and contributing new working methods, analyses, and proven methods for inclusion. We won't stop until every young person in Sweden has the power to influence society and their own lives. Together, we break down barriers between young people and power.
