Now we are looking for an energy strategist who wants to drive the energy and climate transition in one of Western Sweden's largest municipal property portfolios.
Help drive Borås City's energy transition. Do you want to combine technical expertise with strategic development work while contributing to real social value? As an energy strategist, you will have a key role in developing and optimizing energy work within the facilities management's property portfolio.
You will become part of the Projects and Management Support division, a team of specialists in energy, environment, safety, IT, and accessibility. Together, you will contribute expert knowledge, drive development initiatives, and support the management in creating sustainable, efficient, and future-proof facilities.

About the role
As an energy strategist, you are responsible for coordinating, developing, and following up energy work within Borås City's property portfolio. You work both strategically and operationally with issues related to energy, climate, electrification, and sustainable facility solutions.
Main responsibilities
Drive and develop work on energy efficiency, operational optimization, and energy management.
Participate in new construction, renovation, and extension projects with a focus on energy, climate, electricity supply, and electrification.
Analyze energy performance and technical systems in the property portfolio and evaluate and recommend energy-efficient solutions based on technology, economics, and sustainability.
Coordinate and support internal and external stakeholders on issues related to energy, sustainability, and indoor climate.
Who you are
We are looking for someone who is engaged and curious, driven by a desire to develop sustainable solutions. You have a strategic approach while enjoying turning ideas into concrete results.
To succeed in this role, you have:
Post-secondary education in energy, electricity, or a related field.
At least five years of experience with energy work related to properties.
Experience with electrical, heating, ventilation, and control and regulation systems.
Experience with project work, procurement, and cooperation with various stakeholders.
As a person, you are analytical, communicative, and relationship-building. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and have the ability to drive matters forward in a complex organization.
