Focus of Your Role As an energy engineer, you'll have a central role where you combine specialist knowledge with overall responsibility for developing the business area. You work closely with customers, project teams and partners, and become an important advisor throughout the construction process. You will, among other things: carry out climate and energy calculations in early stages using IDA ICE manage customer dialogues and provide support on strategic energy issues contribute specialist knowledge to projects related to environmental certifications participate in design meetings and ensure energy issues receive proper focus identify, develop and follow up on relevant sustainability indicators serve as knowledge support and coach for colleagues and project engineers drive and further develop the Energy business area based on operational and customer needs. This is a role for someone who appreciates variety, where one day you dive into technical analyses and the next day you lead discussions, guide project teams and create conditions for sustainable decisions. What We'd Like to See We're looking for you who feel confident in your expertise and are motivated by the opportunity to take greater responsibility. You thrive when you get to combine the specialist role with developing projects and working methods. We'd love it if you have: several years of experience as an energy engineer within construction or real estate good experience working in IDA ICE and independently conducting energy calculations experience managing your own assignments and handling customer dialogues understanding of different stages of the construction process and the requirements that apply along the way an interest in sustainability issues and a desire to contribute to development in the field.
