The Department of Communication, Quality Technology, and Information Systems operates at both Campus Östersund and Campus Sundsvall. The department conducts education and research within areas that fall under Communication, Quality Technology, and Information Systems.
Duties
Duties vary depending on the course but may include tutoring students, grading assignments, and providing supplementary instruction in our Software Engineering program.
Work can be performed remotely.
Eligibility
To be employed as a teaching assistant, you must meet the requirements described in Mid Sweden University's employment regulations.
You are eligible for employment as a teaching assistant if you are admitted to education at the undergraduate or advanced level.
Evaluation Criteria
The evaluation criteria applied in the selection process are your professional experience and suitability. Additionally, you must have completed at least 30 credits in computer science or equivalent.
Personal Qualities
We want you to be independent, have an interest in helping and explaining concepts to other students, and deliver work within predetermined timeframes.
Processing
Preparation of the employment follows the procedures specified in Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance and continues in accordance with Mid Sweden University's employment regulations.
Employment and Start Date
The employment comprises 20-25% of full-time from September 30, 2026, or by agreement, but no later than January 31, 2027.
The employment may be renewed in accordance with Chapter 5, Section 12 of the Higher Education Ordinance (1993:100).
