Embedded Software Engineer – Vehicle Motion Control

Develop software for vehicle control and contribute to energy-efficient longitudinal regulation in next-generation vehicle platforms. Would you like to develop software that impacts how vehicles accelerate, brake, and use energy? In this role, you'll work with embedded systems and control functions for an advanced vehicle platform, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. About the Role Develop software for longitudinal vehicle control. Work with features for propulsion, energy storage, and braking systems. Contribute to a modern platform for vehicle-close control units. Work in an international and cross-functional development environment. What You'll Do Develop and update model-based functions and C++ functionality. Implement software in embedded control units. Create and maintain automated tests in CI environments. Debug, test, and trace features during integration. Collaborate with development teams and relevant technical functions. What We're Looking For At least three years of experience in software development with C++ and Python. Experience with control systems and embedded systems development. Experience with automated testing and CI/CD. Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture. University degree in, for example, computer science, electrical engineering, or applied physics. Technology & Tools C++ and Python. Simulink and model-based development. CI/CD and automated software testing. Wireshark, CANalyzer, and CANoe. Meritorious: Ethernet, diagnostics, software download, and network communication. Practical Information Location: Gothenburg.
