In your role as Embedded Software Developer, you will: Develop and implement software solutions for embedded systems Work in cross-functional teams with both software and hardware specialists Be involved in the entire development process, from design to implementation and testing Participate in innovative projects both in-house and with our customers, depending on the nature of the assignment At AFRY, we also offer flexibility through the opportunity for remote work, where the nature of the project and customer requirements allow it. Qualifications We are looking for you – an engaged team player with strong interest and expertise in embedded systems. To thrive and succeed in this role, you have several years of experience programming in C or C++ within embedded development, and good knowledge of real-time systems – preferably combined with experience in Embedded Linux. You also have: Knowledge of Python Experience with agile methods, such as Scrum Ability to quickly grasp new technical challenges and project environments Experience working closely with both colleagues and customers It is advantageous if you also have experience with: Firmware development Driver development Tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD For this position, it is a requirement that you master both Swedish and English in speech and writing, as our assignments often involve contact with Swedish customers. Some assignments may also be security classified, which means you will be subject to security vetting under the Security Protection Act.
