Working as an Electricity Market Specialist
As an Electricity Market Specialist with us, you'll have an important role in developing and strengthening our electricity trading business. The role combines operational work and development, where you contribute analysis, business support, and advice to both colleagues and customers. You work close to our operations and help develop our customer offerings, product portfolio, working methods, and system support in a changing energy market. The role includes monitoring developments in the electricity market.
Your responsibilities include:

• Analysis, reporting, and monitoring of key metrics
• Production forecasting and optimization
• Data quality assurance and development of working methods and system support
• Development work within ancillary services, flexibility markets, day-ahead and intraday trading
• Optimization of own facility assets, such as turbines and batteries
The role is part of the Market Department and you'll join the Energy Services group. The group comprises 13 people with a broad operational scope spanning electricity trading, district heating, district cooling, pellets, energy services for housing cooperatives, and electric vehicle charging. Your immediate colleague will be the Head of Electricity Trading, who will lead and support you in your daily work.
Your Profile
To thrive in the role of Electricity Market Specialist, you are business-minded, analytically oriented, and have a genuine interest in the energy sector. You have good communication skills and enjoy collaboration, where you build and develop long-term relationships with suppliers, partners, and colleagues. You drive your work forward independently, serve as a natural bridge between different functions, and are motivated by analyzing complex relationships and contributing to business-driven development and operational improvements.
You have:
• A university degree with a technical focus, e.g., Energy Engineering, Industrial Economics, or equivalent, or relevant work experience that we consider equivalent
• Good system familiarity and experience working with business systems
• Excellent Excel skills

It is advantageous if you have:
