The company is in an exciting phase of development and is now looking for an electrical power technician who wants to drive ongoing service and maintenance assignments. ABOUT THE ROLE As an Electrical Power Technician for our client, you will be an important part of a team working with service, maintenance, and smaller projects in high-voltage installations. The role involves varied work at customer sites where you and your colleagues ensure the operational reliability of critical electrical infrastructure. The work mainly consists of maintenance work in switchgear, transformer stations, and other electrical power installations. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and get good opportunities to develop within different technical areas over time. Your work tasks will include: Service and maintenance of transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear Prevention and remedial maintenance in high-voltage installations Mechanical and electrical work in connection with service assignments Participation in smaller projects such as switchgear and transformer replacement Cable work and installation of new stations Troubleshooting and technical inspections Documentation and reporting of completed work Collaboration with project managers, service managers, and other technicians Work is mainly conducted at customer sites and travel within the region is a natural part of the position. Most assignments are completed during regular working hours, but evening, weekend, and on-call work may occur as needed. WHO ARE YOU? We are looking for someone with a background in electrical work, electrical power, or industry who enjoys a practical and technical role. You appreciate varied workdays, enjoy solving problems, and have a strong focus on safety in everything you do. To succeed in the role, you are a team player who enjoys collaborating closely with your colleagues. You are responsible, thorough, and willing to speak up when necessary. At the same time, you have a desire to learn new things and develop within the electrical power field. We also believe the following points apply to you: Education in electrical technology or electrical power from upper secondary school or vocational college, combined with a few years of experience in the electrical power field Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent competence through several years of experience in electrical power or as an industrial electrician Good technical understanding and interest in mechanical work Good understanding of occupational health and safety issues Fluent in Swedish and English Swedish citizenship Category B driving license It is a merit if you have experience working in high voltage, switchgear, or transformer stations, but we also welcome you with the right educational background and willingness to develop in this field.
