Electrical Power Engineer
Stockholm Exergi AB · Full-time
Stockholm, Sweden
Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for Stockholm residents, and we are approximately 850 employees working every day to reduce Stockholm's climate impact. We heat over 800,000 Stockholmers, and our 300-mile-long district heating network is the hub for the social benefits we create. We have now begun construction of a carbon capture facility at our bioenergy heating plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year—more than what Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period. We need more skilled employees and hope you want to join us on our Exergi journey. What can we offer you? We are now looking for a driven Electrical Power Engineer who wants to work on exciting tasks in our maintenance team. As an Electrical Power Engineer, you will be part of a group that shares responsibility for preventive maintenance with requirements for high technical availability and safety. You ensure that maintenance work is carried out internally by our own Electrical Technicians or by subcontractors. You follow up to ensure it is done with the right quality at the right time. You will also be responsible for developing and monitoring the budget within your electrical area. Therefore, it is important that you continuously gather information about major maintenance needs and reinvestments. We in the engineering group work with maintenance long-term, so you need to be structured and have the ability to plan, organize your own work, and be self-driven and confident in your professional role. In your daily work, you will collaborate with other maintenance engineer colleagues in Automation, Mechanical, and Operations, as well as with our workshops. You will participate as a requirements setter in our investment projects, and therefore we see that you have an easy time collaborating and communicating with others in a clear manner. To support this, we use the maintenance system IFS. Employment form: Permanent employment. Working hours: Day shift. Location: Work at the company's facilities based at Hässelby Works. My role is to be a good and clear leader who supports you and your development.
