Electrical Designer at ATLID in Lidköping

About the Role As an Electrical Designer at ATLID, you will have a central role in the company's projects and work with electrical design from start to finish. You will work from technical specifications and customer needs to develop electrical solutions, drawings, and construction documentation that are then implemented into finished solutions in the workshop. The role includes electrical design, dimensioning, material selection and procurement of electrical components, while maintaining close dialogue with control cabinet assemblers, automation technicians, and PLC programmers. You will work in a varied project environment, primarily focused on concrete and material handling facilities and other manufacturing industries. One moment you might be focused on a larger design project, the next you could be supporting the workshop, helping with a technical question, communicating with a supplier, or providing technical guidance to a customer. As a designer, you will be an important link between several parts of the operation and therefore have a broad network of contacts. Your Profile To succeed in the role of electrical designer, we believe you have several years of experience in electrical design within industry. You should be confident in your expertise and able to take responsibility for driving the design work forward. You are accustomed to understanding technical contexts, translating requirements and specifications into functioning electrical solutions, and creating documentation that works all the way out in the workshop. As a person, you are social, communicative, and unpretentious. Since the role is a central part of the operation, you will have many contact points and need to enjoy collaborating, helping others, and handling questions that arise along the way. At the same time, you are independent, thorough, and responsible, with the drive to take ownership of your work.
