On behalf of our client, we are now seeking an Electrical Design Engineer who wants to work with technically advanced and customized solutions within critical infrastructure. ABOUT THE ROLE: In your role as an Electrical Design Engineer, you will work on the development and customization of generator units and backup power systems for customers with high demands for quality, operational reliability, and technical performance. You will be an important part of the project organization and work together with, among others, project managers and mechanical design engineers to develop solutions for their customers. The role is characterized by clear overall responsibility where you get to follow projects from design to finished solution. You work with electrical design and control systems, prepare manufacturing documentation and technical documentation, and program PLCs and other control equipment. You will also be involved in installations at facilities and work with technical investigations, troubleshooting, and verification all the way to commissioning. Work Tasks: Develop and customize electrical solutions and control systems based on customer and project requirements Take responsibility for electrical design in your own projects from engineering to final delivery Prepare electrical schematics, manufacturing documentation, CE documentation, and final documentation Program PLCs and/or other control equipment Participate in technical investigations, troubleshooting, verification, and commissioning Coordinate electrical installations and, if necessary, liaise with or manage subcontractors Work closely with project managers, mechanical design engineers, and production to find efficient technical solutions Contribute to product development, standardization, and continuous improvement work WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: Have a relevant post-secondary education in electrical design, electrical engineering, automation, or similar field Have at least one year of work experience in electrical design, automation, control systems, or similar tasks Have good technical understanding and experience working with electrical designs and technical documentation Are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work It is advantageous if you: Have experience with Elprocad or equivalent design tools Have experience with Monitor or similar business systems Have experience with PLC programming and control systems Have a background as an electrician combined with further education in electrical design or automation Have experience working close to production, installation, or commissioning We will place great emphasis on personal qualities. ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT: This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant for our client. This position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security screening regulations.
