Vattenfall Services is Sweden's leading contractor in the energy and electrical power sector, and we develop Sweden's energy infrastructure! As an electrical design engineer, you work on developing electrical designs for station projects such as transformer stations and hydroelectric power stations. This includes designing control systems, local power supply, and relay protection systems. In projects, you work together with other electrical design engineers, project managers, and design managers. Within the Technology business area, you become part of a knowledge network with approximately 190 engineers across the country. Here you'll have the opportunity to develop, share knowledge, and work with cutting-edge technology. Travel may occur in the role to visit the stations. Examples of work tasks included in the role: Prepare comprehensive electrical designs Perform design adaptations Opportunity for design management Requirements We're looking for someone with strong analytical abilities who enjoys solving complex problems. You have solid knowledge in the field and enjoy sharing your expertise with colleagues. Taking responsibility for a task and driving the work forward together with the design team is second nature to you. Since the role involves handling advanced issues, it's important that you are structured in your work approach. We know you'll develop with us. But we'd like to see that you already have: Post-secondary education in electrical power or equivalent work experience Experience designing control systems for switchgear or hydroelectric power stations Experience configuring relay protection systems is a merit Good knowledge of Elprocad and/or Elmaster Good IT and computer skills Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Class B driver's license Additional Information What We Offer After several decades in the energy industry, we know that our employees are our most important and valuable asset.
