As an electrical design engineer, you will work on developing electrical designs for station projects such as transformer stations and hydropower stations. This includes design of, among other things, control systems, local power systems, and relay protection. In the projects, you work together with other electrical design engineers as well as project managers and design managers. Within the Technology business area, you will become part of a competence network with approximately 190 engineers across the country. Here you have the opportunity to develop, share knowledge, and work with cutting-edge technology. Travel may occur as part of the role to visit the stations. Examples of work tasks included in the role: Prepare complete electrical designs Perform design adaptations Potential opportunity for design management Requirements We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys solving complex problems. You have solid knowledge in the field and enjoy sharing your expertise with colleagues. Taking responsibility for a task and driving the work forward together with the design team is self-evident to you. Since the role involves handling advanced technical issues, it is important that you are structured in your work approach. We know you will develop together with us. But we would like to see that you already have: Post-secondary education in electrical power or equivalent work experience Experience with design of control systems for switchgear or hydropower stations Experience with relay protection configuration is a merit Good knowledge of Elprocad and/or Elmaster Good IT and computer skills Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written B-class driver's license Additional Information What We Offer After several decades in the energy industry, we know that our employees are our most important and valuable asset.
