Your Role on Our Team In the Metering Department, you will have significant responsibility with considerable freedom. You will largely plan your work independently in dialogue with your nearest colleagues and other departments internally. The position includes a mix of office and field work. Examples of work tasks: Monitoring and analysis of power quality in Umeå Energi's electrical network. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing power quality instruments Various troubleshooting and resolution of power quality matters Various troubleshooting and resolution related to billing metering Plan outages for installation of new power quality instruments. Assist the customer department with questions regarding billing metering in high-voltage connection matters Inspections of customer facilities as needed Programming of HSP meters Work with loss calculations in the low-voltage network to detect and address high network losses. Plan 6-year inspections of subscriptions ≥80A When needed, investigate unauthorized energy diversion A day at work might start with you reviewing data and investigating error reports. You will check incoming cases in WMS and distribute work orders to metering technicians. If incoming cases need further investigation, you will contact electrical installers. You will also program power quality instruments and HSP meters as well as work with maintenance of power quality instruments, troubleshooting, and resolution of meter data collection in the field. You have ongoing customer contact, which requires a relationship-focused approach. You will become an important part of a dedicated team that always puts Umeå first. Your nearest colleagues work in Energy Metering and Data Analysis To succeed in this role, you need: University degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent Good collaboration skills High drive and a solution-oriented approach Category B driver's license It is a plus if you also have: Experience in electrical installation work Good knowledge of power quality With Us You Get More Than a Job As an employee, you are an important part of the whole.
