Student Support Assistant at Viaskolan and Svandammsskolan - Project Position

Viaskolan and Svandammskolan will implement a joint development project during the 26/27 school year to strengthen students in grade 6 in attendance, well-being, and study environment. The purpose is to provide students with close adult support and create better conditions for increased goal achievement and a secure school experience. Job Responsibilities We are seeking a student support assistant for a project position during the 26/27 school year. The position is linked to grade 6 and is divided between Viaskolan (60%) and Svandammsskolan (40%). As a student support assistant, you are an important adult in the students' school day. You are present close to the students, contribute to well-being and a good study environment, and support teachers in practical and social situations. Your support helps teachers focus better on teaching and students' academic development. Your tasks include: Support students who need structure, motivation, or guidance Be a trusted adult both in and outside the classroom Contact guardians regarding student absences and work to improve attendance Work preventively and promotively on well-being and study environment Contribute to a sense of security during breaks, transitions, and other situations throughout the school day Collaborate with the school's student health services and leadership in preventive and supportive attendance work Promote language and academic development in all parts of teaching Document and follow up on interventions according to school procedures We welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experiences.
