Student Assistant/Resource Pedagogue Wanted for Christinaskolan Adapted Elementary School

Christinaskolan adapted elementary school is a school where we work with warmth, competence, and structure to ensure that every student has the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. At our school, relationships, safety, and clarity are at the center. Our students have intellectual disabilities and in some cases additional functional variations. We have students from preschool through grade 9 who study subjects and subject areas and receive instruction in a small and secure environment. We are now seeking an engaged student assistant/resource pedagogue who wants to work closely with students in need of special support. Responsibilities As a student assistant/resource pedagogue, you will work closely with your colleagues to support students in their daily activities. You are an important source of support both in the classroom, during breaks, and in after-school activities, and you contribute to creating structure, safety, and motivation. The position involves working with student groups during school hours as well as work in after-school activities. Qualifications: Pedagogical education, such as child and leisure program or other relevant education. Experience working in an adapted elementary school or with people with disabilities is a merit, as is other experience working with children and young people.
