Work Tasks As a student assistant at Torslanda Adapted Primary School, you will have a unique opportunity to be part of an inspiring and developmental environment where you make a difference in students' lives every day. You will work alongside teachers and other staff members, both during the school day and in the after-school program, to support and motivate students in their learning and personal development. In your role as a student assistant, you will: Work closely with students and colleagues to create a safe, engaging, and developmental school environment. Assist with adaptations and support needed for students to reach their goals. Support students with various needs and adapt pedagogical methods to promote their learning. Participate in the planning and implementation of activities and instruction that stimulate students' interest and curiosity. You will become part of an engaged team where you have the opportunity to share your ideas and experiences. Qualifications Formal Requirements We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education. You should also have at least 6 months of experience in adapted primary schools. It is meritorious if you have: Experience working with students with neuropsychiatric and intellectual disabilities Experience working with Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) Experience working with Low Arousal Approach Experience with physical care or personal hygiene support Personal Competencies We are looking for someone who is: Stable and secure: You provide our students with the safety and security they need to grow and develop.
