Ref: 20261816 Job Duties We are looking for an experienced student assistant to work with one or more students/groups of students in preschool class, school, and after-school care. The assignment is initially in preschool class during preschool and after-school care hours. You will participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational work with students together with the responsible pedagogue and part of the team. Some contact with guardians is included in the assignment. You will contribute to promoting students' development. The assignment includes care for individual students and/or work with students with physical or cognitive disabilities. You will work based on documentation provided about students, such as pedagogical documentation or medical action plans. Qualifications You have completed upper secondary education. If it is from the child and leisure program, we consider that a merit. It is also a merit to have student assistant training or other education aimed at meeting children with needs for care, diabetes, intellectual disability, and/or neurodevelopmental diagnoses such as autism/ADHD/language disorder. You have previous experience working as a student assistant with students aged 6-12 years, and you have at least two years of work experience including work with children and youth. It is a merit to have previous experience working in primary school with students who need special support. Similarly, it is a merit if you have previously worked with care and students with diabetes. It is a requirement that you have insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to apply them in daily work. You also have special knowledge of the conditions for students in need of special support based on the school's needs, as well as knowledge of low-affect interaction. You have developed strategies to meet and support students and guardians in different situations.
