Job Responsibilities As a student assistant, you work closely with an individual student and provide support in daily schoolwork. You follow the student throughout the school day and participate in instruction, as well as during breaks and school lunch when needed. You support the student by clarifying instructions, explaining assignments, and creating structure in schoolwork. When the student works independently, you can also be available as support for other students. The student is enrolled in a gymnasium program that includes both theoretical and practical components. You work closely with the special education teacher and the student's teachers to create the best conditions for the student to develop and succeed in their studies. You will also be part of a well-functioning work team. The assignment may change over time based on the student's needs and development. Qualifications We are looking for someone with completed upper secondary education. We would like to see previous experience working as a student assistant in a gymnasium. Experience working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities is a merit. You have experience and strong knowledge in hair and styling subjects. You have good ability to collaborate and cooperate with teaching staff, student support teams, and when needed, students' guardians. As a person, you are clear and organized. You have good social competence, great patience, and understanding for all individuals' different circumstances. You have the ability to find individually adapted solutions so students can develop and reach their goals. When working with young people, it is important that you are a good role model and a boundary-setting adult. As a colleague, you are flexible and independent, while also enjoying collaboration and being part of a team. You are passionate about helping students structure their work and make the most of their potential. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
