Ref: 20261914 Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a student assistant at Fridhemsskolan to work with one or more students. As a student assistant, you will also participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational work with students/groups under the guidance of the responsible educator in accordance with your assignment. You support and help the student/group navigate various situations in both their personal development and academic learning. The work as a student assistant with us involves varied tasks depending on the nature of the individual assignment, which is why it is very important that you are highly flexible. You will collaborate with other professional groups and functions. You will work at the school's after-school program in the afternoons. Qualifications You have completed upper secondary education. If it is from the children and leisure program, we consider that a merit. The following are requirements for the position: At least two years of work experience including work with children and young people Experience working as a student assistant Experience working with students in grades F-6 Experience supporting students with needs for extra adjustments or special support Experience working at after-school programs We would like you to have good knowledge of the school's curriculum and other documents that govern the school's operations. We also value knowledge of low-stimulus interaction and understanding how various disabilities affect student learning and how best to compensate for these. We expect you to recognize the student's/group's strengths and be willing to help the student/group develop and reach their full potential based on their circumstances. Your work is varied based on student needs, and through your dedication you will lead and stimulate the student/group toward both academic and social development. You should have the ability to motivate the student/group in their learning and create understanding, as well as take initiative on your own. You are flexible and enjoy collaboration but have no difficulty working independently. To support students, you must have very good Swedish language skills. Welcome to apply!
