Job Duties The main task of this position involves helping students during the school day and working at after-school care. You will have an important role at the after-school facility where you, together with colleagues, work based on our governing documents in planning and carrying out activities. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for making the students' entire day at school as good as possible. To succeed with this requires daily communication with guardians and colleagues about students' well-being and needs. You will have an important role in the school's work on safety and well-being, and during the school day you support classroom work and activities during recess. Qualifications You should have documented experience and education in working with school-age children with NPF-related issues and experience working with students facing social difficulties. We are looking for someone with a trained eye for identifying triggers in situations and the ability to de-escalate emotional outbursts. Knowledge of the school's governing documents is of great importance, and you have experience working in after-school care. You are good at collaborating with students, colleagues, and guardians and have the ability to create safety. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and the ability to pedagogically be students' helper in teaching. Documentation, which we are required to carry out according to governing documents, places demands on your ability to express yourself in writing. Assisting students with hygiene and possible diaper changes may occur. You are motivated by developing the pedagogy and support for the students you work closest with. You have the ability to read signals in the social context students find themselves in and to stay one step ahead. You do this by planning, structuring, and preparing students for what will happen during the day.
