About the Activities
Byttorpskolan is a grades F-6 school with approximately 270 students that strives for high achievement goals, engaged staff, and motivated students. The school consists of after-school care, preschool class, and grades 1-6, and from fall term 2026, a newly established KSU group. Byttorpskolan has new and fresh facilities.
There is a student health team that supports the activities and students in daily work. Byttorpskolan is close to nature and the lake, yet still near the city center. Because the school is located near the center, we have access to the city's cultural offerings.
Job Responsibilities
Your position is placed in the school's newly established KSU group for students with autism. You will follow students during instruction, sometimes provide one-on-one teaching, and accompany students during breaks and transitions. You will also work in the school's after-school care in the mornings and afternoons.
In your role as a teaching assistant, you are a good role model and a trusted adult. You are active and involved in the students' daily lives and contribute with stability, structure, and routines.
You must work according to the intentions outlined in the students' action plans and maintain good and continuous communication with the student's teacher and guardians. It is important that you can express yourself well both verbally and in writing. It is important that you are a trustworthy person with an approach that aligns with the school's values. We expect you to be open to meeting children and adults with different backgrounds and circumstances.
You will be part of a work team where we learn from each other, plan interdisciplinary activities, and solve challenges together. In addition to the work team, student health services and school management are available to support you.
Qualifications
You have relevant upper secondary education, such as child and recreation, teaching assistant training, or a support pedagogue or social pedagogue degree from a folk high school or vocational college. For this position, it is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).

You find work with students stimulating and have the ability to see students from a holistic perspective. You are flexible, creative, structured, and enjoy challenges. You have good collaboration skills and a positive attitude toward students, parents, and colleagues.
