About the Operation The Primary School Administration in Borås City is now starting a fourth unit for students in adapted primary school, Adapted Primary School Byttorp. We began our operations in spring term 2026 and are located in the same excellent facilities as Byttorp School F-6. Adapted Primary School welcomes students in grades 1-9 from across Borås. We strive to provide our students with a learning and motivating school experience. Well-structured instruction and great confidence in students' inherent willingness and ability to learn is our starting point. The school will also have after-school care/short-term supervision for all students. Job Responsibilities We are seeking two student assistants to create a safe and educational environment for our students working together as a team, where everyone has an important role in the student's learning, development, and well-being. You will work in collaboration with the responsible teacher to support students in daily activities as well as in after-school care and short-term supervision. The assignment involves providing support in instruction, contributing to structure and security, and adapting working methods and environment based on the student's individual needs. Adapted Primary School is an operation adapted to the student's needs, which also requires you as a student assistant to meet this with a responsive, structured, and calm approach. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with relevant upper secondary education (children and recreation/student assistant training/care work) or a support pedagogue degree or social pedagogue degree from a folk high school or vocational college. It is desirable that you have experience working with people in need of support, for example from adapted primary school or care-related work. We would like to see experience working with children/young people with disabilities as well as experience with AAC and familiarity with TAKK. As a person, you are responsive, flexible, adaptable, and can handle changes in everyday life with calm and security, always with the student's best interests in focus. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working closely with both educators and other staff. At the same time, you are confident in taking responsibility in all daily situations.
