Welcome to the Björna school district! We operate across four different school units: Björna, Gideå, Hemling, and Trehörningsjö. We have after-school programs, preschool classes, and primary school with students from preschool through grade 9. In our school district, we work largely with age-integrated classes. The grade levels are small, creating a close and family-like atmosphere at our schools. Job Responsibilities You will work as a teaching assistant in a special education group at Björnaskolan. There is a qualified teacher who is responsible for instruction in the group. You will provide support in teaching and spend some time in our after-school program. You will be part of the F-6 work team and may participate in additional tasks based on need and competence. You will join a school with experienced colleagues where your work team together is responsible for driving and developing the educational work by planning, implementing, and following up on instruction guided by the curriculum and municipal objectives. This position is a fixed-term employment until 26/12/22. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a high school diploma from a child and recreation program or other education that the employer deems appropriate. You should have strong pedagogical skills and a positive attitude toward our students. If you have other qualifications, you are welcome to apply.
