We are now looking for a committed and confident student assistant for our adapted primary school. Sjöbo Municipality's adapted primary school is located at Emanuelskolan in Sjöbo. The adapted primary school should be a safe and developmental workplace where students' individual circumstances, needs, and strengths are at the center. We work to ensure that each student has the opportunity to develop as far as possible, both academically, socially, and in their independence. For us, relationships, safety, and clarity are important parts of the pedagogical work. In the activity, you will meet students with different experiences, abilities, and support needs. This means that the work is varied and that we constantly need to be curious, flexible, and prepared to adapt our working methods. We use clear structure, visual support, alternative forms of communication, and various pedagogical strategies to create a teaching environment where all students can participate. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a student assistant in adapted primary school and after-school care, you work closely with students throughout the school day. Together with teachers and other colleagues, you contribute to a safe, clear, and developmental learning environment. Your work tasks include: • Provide individual support and adapt the support based on the student's needs and circumstances. • Support students in teaching and in various learning situations at school and in after-school care. • Strengthen students' independence, communication, and social skills. • Create structure, clarity, and predictability in students' school day. • Support students in social situations, breaks, transitions, and other parts of the school day. • Work preventatively and with a calm approach to create safety and a good study environment. • Contribute to an accessible and inclusive learning environment. • Collaborate closely with teachers, student welfare, and other staff regarding students' development. • Participate in planning, follow-up, and development of work around the students. • Contribute to a positive and professional work climate. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • Have a genuine interest in working with children and young people. • Are confident, calm, attentive, and relationship-building. • Have the ability to see each student's individual needs and strengths. • Are flexible and can adapt your approach and working method to different situations. • Have a calm and respectful approach. • Are clear, structured, and consistent when the situation requires it. • Have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others. • Are solution-focused and see opportunities rather than limitations. • Have the ability to stay calm even in challenging situations. • Have an interest in pedagogy and contributing to students' development and learning. • Have secondary education in children and leisure or post-secondary education in pedagogy or student assistant training. • Meriting is experience working in adapted primary school, school, LSS, or similar activities. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months, start: By agreement, ends: 2026-12-18.
