JOB DUTIES As a student assistant, you work closely with an individual student who needs special support during the school day. The assignment also includes work in after-school activities. You are an important support in the student's everyday life and work actively to promote both learning and social development. The goal is to create a safe and developing school environment. The work takes place in close collaboration with teachers, after-school staff and guardians. You contribute by: • Supporting the student in teaching and during after-school activities • Working with clarifying pedagogy at group and individual level • Using visual aids and digital tools to explain and communicate We make each other better by: • Sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues • Creating a safe and accessible learning environment • Being responsive to each student's needs • Working solution-focused and with great commitment QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is confident, responsive and good at building trust. You meet each student with respect and adapt your support according to needs and daily circumstances. You see what needs to be done and take initiative to create a functioning everyday life. Through close collaboration with colleagues and guardians, you contribute to a safe and developing learning environment. The assignment requires: • High school diploma • Good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written Experience and/or pedagogical training for working with students in need of special support is meriting. It is also an advantage to have IT skills and experience using digital tools in pedagogical work.
