DUTIES We are looking for a stable and trustworthy student assistant who is passionate about student development and learning. Your primary task is to support and be present for our students. You support, motivate and contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment. In addition, you actively participate in the classroom and contribute with pedagogical insights. You create a close relationship with the student in order to provide security in their school experience while maintaining professional distance. You have a low-affect approach and are clear in your communication. You collaborate with teachers, student support services and other relevant personnel with the student's best interests in focus. As a person, you are flexible and have good collaboration skills as well as the ability to interpret signals and stay one step ahead. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We have school and after-school activities with opening hours 06:00-18:00 and the work involves varied working hours based on the student(s)' schedules. As a teacher/student assistant, you play an important role in students' school and after-school environments. You have high situational assessment skills and collaborate with other colleagues to support students in their learning and development. You are an important part of the school's team and work closely with classroom teachers and other staff throughout the students' school day. We are looking for someone with experience working with children in need of special support and with experience working with pedagogical methods. You have a solution-focused and professional approach, clear leadership and a strong willingness to develop each student's abilities. QUALIFICATIONS • Experience working with children in need of special support: -You have experience working with children and students in need of special support, for example in NPF (neuropsychiatric disabilities), language disorders, social difficulties or concentration difficulties. • Experience with pedagogical methods: -You have experience working with low-affect approaches and other pedagogical methods in challenging situations. • Medical competence: -You have experience with, or competence in, working with people who have medical needs, for example diabetes and/or epilepsy. • Education: -You have training as a student assistant or teacher assistant. Alternatively, you have other education that the employer deems equivalent and relevant for the position. • Merits: -Experience working in school or after-school care. -Experience collaborating with guardians and external stakeholders. Type of employment: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months. Appointment to the position can only be made provided that the necessary decisions are made.
