In your role as a student assistant, your primary responsibility is to provide daily support for students with various challenges and NPF variations. This mainly involves being available for students during class time, transitions, breaks, and meal times at school and in after-school care. In your work, you are responsible for ensuring that students feel motivated to learn and are engaged in their learning based on their own abilities. In this role, it is important to recognize students' different needs, take their individual circumstances into account, and help students grow and develop. The goal is to increase students' independence and work toward inclusion to the greatest extent possible.
We are looking for someone with relevant education to work as a student assistant, who has experience working with children and preferably pedagogical experience to meet students' needs for accommodations at the right level. Documented knowledge of NPF diagnoses, strong collaboration skills, solution-focused thinking, and low-arousal approaches are meritorious.
