ABOUT THE JOB We are now looking for a teaching assistant at Norrängsskolan. Norrängsskolan is a grades F-6 school with approximately 300 students. The school has a wonderful schoolyard with proximity to forest and nature. We believe in the importance of collaboration and ensuring everyone feels included. As a teaching assistant, you provide pedagogical support to the school's teachers. Your tasks include supporting students during the school day and, when needed, being responsible for planning and conducting teaching. You work in a supportive and inclusive manner for all students based on the school's values and collaborate with teachers in daily work. For this assignment, we would prefer male applicants, as you will follow and support the student throughout the day, including, for example, during toilet visits and changing clothes in changing rooms. YOUR PROFILE We believe in the right competence in the right place. We are looking for someone who is trained as a social pedagogue or has equivalent education/experience that the employer considers equivalent. Knowledge of neuropsychiatric functional impairments (NPF) is a merit. We are looking for someone who focuses on the student and who feels a strong commitment to supporting and guiding young people at school. It is important that you have good social skills and good conduct towards both students and guardians as well as other professionals at the school.
