Responsibilities As an Electronics Engineer at OXE Marine AB, you have broad and varied responsibility for electrical design and development of the company's high-performance diesel outboard engines. You work on developing electrical systems from concept to finished product, which includes creating electrical schematics, selecting components, and integrating electrical solutions into the overall product design. The work also involves creating and maintaining detailed 2D and 3D models and preparing documentation in accordance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements. Together with the mechanical and test teams, you work closely in cross-functional development projects, where your contribution is crucial to ensuring that the product's electrical systems meet both technical specifications and user-related requirements. In addition to new product development, you are also responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to existing products. You are expected to translate technical improvement suggestions into practical solutions that enhance product performance and reliability. The work takes place primarily in a CAD environment using SolidWorks and Siemens Teamcenter, and requires experience working in advanced PDM systems. An important part of the role is also to support production and aftermarket by providing technical documentation, assisting with troubleshooting, and answering product-related questions. Responsible for electrical design and development of products from concept to finished product Creates and maintains detailed 2D and 3D models in CAD (SolidWorks) and documentation according to standards Collaborates closely with mechanical and test teams to ensure that technical and user requirements are met Supports production and aftermarket with technical documentation and troubleshooting Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Several years of experience in similar work within electrical design and product development Relevant technical education at university or college level, or equivalent practical experience Good knowledge of 2D/3D CAD Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written To succeed in this role, we see that you are someone who takes great responsibility for your tasks and rarely misses details because you plan your work in a structured way and work systematically.
