Electrician for City Lighting Operations & Maintenance of Public Lighting – North Side Would you like a free and varied job where you make a real difference in society every day? About the Position As an electrician with us, you work with operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of public lighting. The work is practical, varied, and takes place mainly outdoors. You operate with your own service vehicle and work both independently and together with colleagues. On-call duty is included in the position, as is work from a lift truck. You are responsible for ensuring that our lighting systems function efficiently, safely, and according to current requirements and regulations. Work Tasks In this role, you will work with, among other things: Troubleshooting and repair of street lighting Operations and maintenance work New installation of lighting systems Replacement of fixtures and light sources Handling of fault reports Preventive maintenance and inspection Repair of electrical systems and components You will also participate in: Testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of systems Ensuring that work is performed according to drawings, technical documents, and electrical safety regulations We're Looking for Someone Who Has Vocational training as an electrician or equivalent ECY certificate or authorization Completed apprenticeship Experience with similar tasks Class B driver's license (manual transmission) Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is also important that you have: Experience with electrical installation in contracting, construction, or industry Good knowledge of electrical safety regulations Familiarity with reading electrical drawings and technical documents Personal Qualities We place great emphasis on who you are as a person and believe that you: Are self-driven, responsible, and take initiative Have good problem-solving skills and work carefully Are service-oriented and enjoy customer contact Like working both independently and as part of a team Have good computer skills as reporting is done digitally Are safety-conscious and value quality in your work Contribute to positive team spirit and are humble in collaboration with colleagues and customers Meritorious Experience with street lighting or public lighting work Work with operations contracts within municipal activities We Offer Varied work with great freedom and responsibility Own service vehicle for work use An experienced and helpful team Opportunity to develop within public lighting On-call duty with compensation Secure employment with a collective agreement Work within infrastructure critical to society Welcome with your application!
