The Role As an Electrical Engineer at Nordic Air Defence, you will be responsible for the design and development of low-latency analog sensor systems. You will interface with our other engineers across embedded software engineering, mechanical design, and aerospace engineering to build customer-ready additions to our K100 flight vehicle. Responsibilities Design and implement high-speed analog amplifiers and filters. Develop and test new analog sensing technology for the "seeker" of the K100 flight vehicle. Work together with our supply-chain team to have your designs manufactured, shipped, and tested. Validate and prove the efficacy of your designs in simulation environments and on the lab bench. Participate in real-world flight demonstrations of your work. Oversee overall system design to ensure good EMI performance. Requirements (Required) Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field. A PhD is considered a plus. 3+ years experience with optoelectronics, RF, RADAR, or LiDAR. Familiarity with using simulation tools (i.e. AWR Microwave Office, LTSpice). Proven experience in the design and building of sophisticated analog circuitry. Strong understanding of signal processing both in the analog and digital domains. Experience designing and manufacturing PCBs using Altium, Eagle, KiCAD, or similar. Knowledge and experience in designing for environmental constraints (temperature, humidity, and vibration). Ownership of your work from start to finish. Fluency in English, both written and oral. Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and oral). Requirements (Nice-to-have) Experience in autonomous systems or drones. Experience from the defence or aerospace industry. Familiarity liaising with mechanical design teams to fit your circuit designs in a variety of physical spaces. Experience working in a startup environment. Experience building products using a NATO supply chain. Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++ for algorithm development. Antenna design experience.
